Dr.Diekema said in the Inner Campus interview aired on February 17th that the ethics committee had referred to the American Academy of Pediatrics policy on sterilization of minors with developmental disabilities.

Dr. Diekema talked a lot even before his lecture of January 18. Some of the unsettling things he said in the interviews mentioned in my previous post are as follows.

In a short but very strong editorial of January 16, 2007, titled “A careful decision to comfort an angel”, the Seattle Times wrote, “Without knowing the facts, they suggest the parents are selfishly acting for their convenience.
